Von Pilzfreund Jukka Vauras aus Finnland bekam ich heute folgende email, über die ich mich sehr freute. Ich erlaube mir, weil es wirklich ein außerordentlicher Fund ist, sein Wortlaut wiederzugeben:

Dear Hartmut,

Congratulations for finding Russula taigarum! From your photo with the fruit bodies I can verify your collection. All in the photo fits to Russula taigarum. I can see clearly, that the stipe has red with spots, with is very typical. Also the form of stipe and pileus are typical. And the pileus is matt. Most often the pileus is red, but sometimes we find also specimens with the brown colour like in your photo.
In Finland we find Russula taigarum more often in the northern part of the country, where there are more moist localities. But the species can be found in Southern Finland, too. Also, it has been found in southern parts of Sweden and Norway.

Pilzfreund Jukka wird anhand der Mikro und Makrofotos, als Mitbeschreiber der Art, den Pilz wohl sicher wiedererkennen, oder? Exikat ist vorhanden zum Studium. Am Sonntag geht es genau in dieses Gebiet, da wird wohl Russula consobrina etwas in den Schatten treten müssen.
