Vielleicht liegt die mal positive und mal negative Jodreaktion ja daran, dass "Lugol's solution is often too weak..." ist, wie Zotto in

Baral, H.-O. (1987): Lugol's solution/IKI versus Melzer's reagent: hemiamyloidity, a universal feature of the ascus wall. Mycotaxon 29:401

schreibt, jedenfalls von Clemencon (Methods for Working with Macrofungi : 35) so zitiert.
Bei Clemencon heißt die konzentriertere IKI-Lösung dann ja auch treffend Baral und man könnte die Jod-Reaktionen vielleicht noch einmal damit überprüfen.
